These words kept echoing in my heart and mind, long after I had kept down The Alchemist. There was something magical about the book, and as I flipped through the pages, I could feel every word touching my soul.
Needless to say, The Alchemist is considered to be seen, one of the best-selling books in history, with nearly 70 million copies sold and translated in close to 80 languages. The main theme of the book is all about finding one’s destiny.
The story is an allegory about a young shepherd and his whole journey teaches us to follow our hearts and dreams.
When I read the book, I realized that one should always seize the opportunities that life offers in the pursuit of whatever makes us happy.
To me, it’s one of the best inspirational books of all times, and every time I feel low or seek a bit of courage, I look back at the words of Coelho.
